Irritated Seborrheic Keratosis

Seborrheic keratosis is an inflammatory condition of the skin resulting in ugly spots on the once beautiful and attractive persons. They may develop into hard granular crusts hence making the skin to appear like it is shedding off. This causes a lot of itchiness on the entire body and this is what gradually develops to irritated seborrheic keratosis.

Irritated seborrheic keratosis usually appears in the late stages of keratosis when the spots have become too large and crusty. This can be done by constant and regular baths using some certain types of lotions which will get rid of the shed off dry skin which causes the itchiness. Moreover there are some specific creams which contain chemicals which can be applied on the spots to reduce the sensitivity of the underlying skins nerves hence reducing the urge to itch. Above all it is important to check the type of clothes you wear since some of the clothes will tend to trigger irritated seborrheic keratosis more than others. Cotton clothes are advised but it should not have any protruding furs which may trigger the irritations. It is high time you first kept aside your jewelry for a short time till the irritated seborrheic keratosis settles down.

Overall the best you can do is to treat the irritated seborrheic keratosis and there are several methods of treating from simple home remedies such as use of hydrogen peroxide to complex method involving medical doctors such as use of laser beams and surgery. When treated you are sure to live a free life without having to scratch yourself as a result of irritated seborrheic keratosis.
